The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) welcomes the opportunity to host the 12th International Congress of Parasitology in 2010.

Opening for business on July 1 2009, the new convention centrel is fully integrated with the existing exhibition centre to create the most versatile and advanced convention and exhibition centre in the Southern Hemisphere.

As an international exhibition and convention centre with a reputation for excellence, its facilities and services are world renowned. This has been recognised by the number of awards the Centre has won both nationally and internationally. These include the inaugural “World’s Best Congress Centre of the Year” by the Association Internationale de Palais de Congres (AIPC) and the prestigious accolade of “Best Exhibition and Convention Centre” by the Meetings Industry Association of Australia. It is also the first convention centre to be awarded a ‘6 Star Green Star’ environmental rating by the Green Building Council of Australia.
